Andrew has been associate producer on ‘Red Dwarf’ and script editor on series of ‘The IT
Crowd’ and BBC One's ‘Life of Riley’.
He received his first TV credit writing an episode of daytime drama ‘Doctors’ before becoming in-house script consultant for ITV Comedy, working on everything from ’Ladies of Letters’, ‘FM’ and ’Mumbai Calling’ to comedy drama ‘Honest’ and Adrian Edmondson sitcom ’Teenage Kicks’.
When ’Red Dwarf’ returned to British TV, Andrew script edited the three-part special as well as directing ‘The Making of Back to Earth’ documentary. After script editing on series four of ’The IT Crowd’ for Graham Linehan he joined a team of writers contributing to the fifth series.
In-demand for his work in script development, Andrew has also sold options on several comedy shows and released ’I'm Not With Him’, a pilot audio sitcom, on iTunes. He is currently writing horror-thriller ’Chamber’ for Workshop Productions and road comedy ’Friday at the Castle’ for Scenic Films.
