Sophie Meyer is Head of Development at Ealing Studios. Having overseen the slate since joining the company in 2004, she is credited as co-producer on ‘St. Trinian’s 2: The Legend Of Fritton’s Gold’ and as Associate Producer on ‘Dorian Gray’, ‘Easy Virtue’ and ‘St. Trinian’s’.
Experienced at working with both established and emerging writing talent on a range of genres, the current slate includes ‘What The Puck’written by Geoff Deane and to
be directed by Pete Cattaneo, ‘Fisherman’s Friends’ by ’St. Trinian’s’writers Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft and ‘Nightwork’
adapted by Will Davies.
With over thirteen years working in UK development, she was previously Head of Development for Mission Pictures where she worked across a slate of projects including Danny Boyle’s ‘Millions’ and prior to that worked in development at Intermedia and British Screen.
