One of the country's leading scriptwriters, John's early credits include classic BBC comedies ‘Not The Nine O' Clock News’ and the ‘Kenny Everett’ programmes. His association with Rory Bremner goes back over twenty years and he has worked on all Rory's series and specials for both BBC and C4 as main script writer/script editor. His particular feeling for topical comedy has been utilised to great effect on countless projects in all media and includes many years as writer of BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz.


Over the past few years, recent projects have included writing the hugely successful multi-series of ‘Bremner, Bird and Fortune’, Vera Productions for Channel 4 and script editing Above The Title’s ‘On The Blog’, and ‘Dirk Gently’ for BBC Radio.
